Near fabulous Hulopoe Bay and with marvelous views of the coastline, the rooms are expensive but worth the price for the environment, golf course, services and amenities. Manele Bay Hotel and the Lodge are connected by a complimentary shuttle to the beach, golf course and hotel that also picks up passengers at the Hotel Lanai. In addition to its superb golf course, The Challenge at Manele, pool, health club and spa, the hotel’s Ihilani and Hulopoe Court restaurants are superb. The Pool Grille is excellent for poolside lunches. The Manele Bay Clubhouse at the golf course is one of the best in the islands for views and light fare at a golf clubhouse.
Eight miles from the ocean, surrounded by Norfolk Pines, The Lodge is a small (88 rooms) mountain retreat at 1700 ft. that looks and feels like an English hunting lodge. Set in Hawaiian gardens and landscape, it’s a pleasure to meander the gardens and grounds on walkways. Golf at The Experience at Koele includes an unforgettable natural environment with lakes, waterfalls, ravines and groves of pine, koa, and eucalyptus trees. The Stables at Koele can customize fantastic individual and group rides.
Luxurious guest rooms continue this Old World look and feel. The Formal Dining Room (indeed formal for dinner, jackets required) is one of Hawaii’s great dining spots in every respect and has been getting well-deserved national and international recognition. The Terrace next door serves excellent meals all day in a memorable dining room. Guests also can enjoy meals at Manele Bay’s restaurants and outside the resorts at Henry Clay’s Rotisserie at the Hotel Lanai. Relax in the seclusion of Koele’s grand mountain estate or shuttle to the beach and have lunch at the Manele Bay Hotel and perhaps play a round of golf at The Challenge at Manele.

Moloka’i may have only one resort in business today but it’s a remarkable one on Moloka’i’s west end that mainly consists of the vast acreage of Moloka’i Ranch rolling down from 1400 ft. in Maunaloa to golden and usually deserted beaches around the west and southwest coasts. The 22-room Molokai Ranch Lodge occupies an old-time Hawaiian plantation house the provides rustic luxury together with mountain biking, horseback riding, ocean kayaking and other adventuresome activities for kids of all ages, and also is perfect for romantic getaways. The Lodge also offers 40 “tent bungalows” at the coast.
Moloka’i Ranch – KEIKI CORNER is a supervised children's program including arts and crafts, nature walks, bug hunts, beach activities, radio theater and paniolo (cowboy) adventures. Ages 4-12.
